Artemisa Hicks

Artemisa was born in Mexico, D.F. and grew up there and in Michoacan, Mexico when her father was Governor before marrying and living in Albuquerque New Mexico USA with her husband Cordell Hicks until his retirement when they returned to Mexico to live. While living in Albuquerque she was an administrator in the Spanish language department of the University of New Mexico and served as president of the Partners of the Americas organization. This is her third gallery, the others were located in Parque Soterraña in Morelia Michoacan and Galeria Artemisa in Albuquerque before moving to Puerto Vallarta in 2001 and opening the Galeria Corona.
