Ramiro Fernandez was born in Puebla, Mexico in 1958. His life's passion is a mix of activities linked to art production, restoration of colonial paintings, art brokerage and consulting. These activities come together making room for the application of many old techniques that he learned before graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Puebla.
Ramiro's drawing and graphics are defined in form and content without a previous sketch: aerial landscapes, rivers, cactus, country houses, skeletons, and more. Eroticism is also present in his work not as a leitmotiv, but as a representation of life.

Ramiro Fernández (Puebla 1958) es el vivo retrato de la inquietud, es él una mezcla de actividades unidas al arte: producción, restauración de pintura colonial, correduría, asesoría, etc., actividades que confluyen para dar cabida a la aplicación de técnicas antiguas. Es egresado de la Academia de Bellas Artes de Puebla.
Ramiro dibuja, grafíca sin boceto previo delimitando la forma y su contenido: paisajes aéreos, ríos, cactus, casas rurales, esqueletos, etc.: el erotismo también está presente en su obra no como leit motiv, sino como la representación de la vida.
Veo en la obra de Ramiro, el color chillante de las artesanías de hojalata, de los alebrijes, y también el color de los papalotes mexicanos.
