We are all invited to embark on a visual exploration. Sometimes everything ends in just a figure. Sometimes it’s not important what happens in the end just that it was a dance of color. Sometimes we lose the focal point and we see everything in just a glance. The arches of the station or the theatre no longer have the responsibility and debt of performing their tasks, they are allowed to be just colors. It doesn’t matter what else is there, we can simply see a blue light that pulls us toward it in Renee’s paintings. There are no trains missing. Her trains invite us to embark on a journey to a different reality, to her reality. There, where the spaces are colors and pregnant with intent. The intent of her poetry.
